Policies and Procedures

To our valued patients, below is our new COVID-19 policy at our clinic. The goal of the policy is to provide a safe working environment for our staff, as well as a safe treatment environment for our patients.

  • Signage will be placed at the clinic, as well as on our display boards, with the new health standards in place
  • All patients/clients/practitioners will abide by the “GoodLife Standard” as well as the recommendations of our governing bodies and the Public Health Agency of Canada
  • All patients/clients will be e-mailed a COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire and a COVID-19 Consent Form at least 24 hours before their appointment that must be signed, demonstrating they’ve answered the questionnaire honestly
  • Receipts will continue to be e-mailed following payment
  • All patients/clients will be screened again in person prior to the start of their treatment
  • All patients/clients are asked to use proper hand hygiene (wash/sanitize) before and after your treatment
  • While not mandatory, we highly recommend all patients/clients wear a mask to your appointment
  • All patients/clients will be instructed to come to their appointment 10 minutes early to allow for appropriate screening, if possible
  • All contact surfaces and treatment rooms will be cleaned in-between services, after use, and throughout the day
  • All practitioners will be wearing appropriate PPE as recommended by our governing bodies and in accordance with the Public Health Agency of Canada
  • Appropriate social distancing will be in place at all times
  • All practitioners will ensure their treatment rooms are cleaned before leaving the clinic at the end of the day
  • All patients/clients are asked to immediately leave the clinic and facility following their treatments/payments
  • All patients/clients are instructed to come to their appointment alone. If they require an “essential visitor” (ie. someone who is the guardian of a youth, must physically assist the patient/client or provides an essential support to the patient/client), they will also be screened and asked to wear a mask prior to entry of the clinic
  • If you have symptoms of and/or believe you may have been exposed to COVID-19, we ask that you not come to the clinic, that you reschedule your appointment for 2 weeks and that you contact your family physician and/or local health authority immediately for guidance
  • Appointments will be scheduled at 15 minute staggered intervals to avoid overlap of patients as much as possible (across all practitioners)
  • Treatments will continue to be conducted in closed-door rooms
  • If we encounter a patient/client who exhibits signs and symptoms consistent with COVID-19, we will:
    • Establish and maintain a safe distance or 2m
    • Have the patient/client complete hand hygiene
    • Separate the patient/client from others in the clinic
    • Explain the concern to the patient/client that they are symptomatic and reschedule the appointment
    • Advise the patient/client to self-isolate for at least 14 days, complete the online self-assessment ( and contact their local medical officer of health and/or physician
    • Clean and disinfect the clinic space immediately
